Freshwater Stream

The parcel for sale totals 128.5 acres or 52 hectares. (An additional 30 acres adjacent also available, not advertised) Two freshwater streams with excellent drinking water flow year round from a spring bubbling up further inland in the highlands of the property. All 128.5 acres are usable. Mature fruit trees planted long ago are scattered throughout the property along with rain forest foliage and of course numerous coconut trees in the beach areas. This property does not harbor the usual mangrove. The island is picturesque with two white sand beaches on the harbor side, rock croppings and reefs. A brief bluff area separates the two white sand beaches with dramatic views, ocean breeze and total privacy.

Black Sand Beach

On the backside of the parcel is a black sand beach, creek and mooring. This is the perfect area to bring in supplies and other activity completely out of sight from the white sand beach side. Our quidador resides here. There are multiple building sites all over the property and two of the best ones have been cleared and trails cut to access them.

Small Rock Island just off Big White Beach

The waters here are said to be the only area where humpback whales from the northern and southern hemispheres come together to mate. If you are a kayaking or snorkeling enthusiast, the waters await. There is also a natural rainforest lagoon which was once used by locals for their small boats. This could be resurrected for kayaks and rowboats. There is a small island near the beach. This is owned by no one and not on the maps. (Our prior owners used and possessed the little island and gave it to us at time of purchase, however it is not part of any Right of Possession documents per se. ) This could be used by concession or included if you apply for direct title for a floating dock to our beach.
